Welcome to Wholehearted Counseling and Wellness. Most of us come to a time in our lives when talking with a trusted counselor can be useful. Exploring ways to get additional support during challenging times is a courageous act! I honor your journey.
As a clinician with several years of experience, I work with you to create a safe space to process both the successes and difficulties you may be facing. We often work with people who are navigating stress, communication challenges, sadness, anxiety and life transitions... to name a few. Please feel free to reach out for a conversation today to see if we may be a good fit to work together.

Welcome
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration from the University of Maine. Combining years of experience in substance use counseling with the master's degree in clinical social work has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
Working in residential and intensive outpatient settings with those affected by substance use disorders and trauma helped build a foundation for my future area of focus. I served as a member of the Professional Opioid Workforce Response Program in grad school from 2021-22, specializing in how mental health issues and substance use disorders can be treated simultaneously.
I am especially interested and completed research focused on how to support healthcare workers/ caregivers during the Covid-19 pandemic and how organizations and individuals can address compassion fatigue and build resiliency.
From 2022-2024, I provided direct services as an EAP Counselor at Northern Light Health. I facilitated individual sessions, crisis intervention, trainings and executed debriefing for critical incident responses throughout Maine. I serve as a volunteer in my community connecting those affected by substance use disorders to local recovery resources.
I replenish my creative side as a watercolorist, chalkboard artist, and currently I am learning ceramics. I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, skiing, swimming and spending time with family.
When I am not taking day trips to for pottery lessons, you will find me comfortable at home working on my newest home improvement or design project.
